 Though
popular, rock climbing and rappelling are not activities
many people have done—at least not outdoors on real
rock! Being new and different to most, and extremely challenging,
rock climbing/rappelling are very appealing to teens and
young adults.
Most of our climbing is done at Smith Rock State Park in
Central Oregon.  This world-renowned cluster of basalt towers
offers climbing routes for all skill levels. One-day trips
from Portland and the Willamette Valley area are popular.
Spend the night and raft the Deschutes the day before or
after and you have variety and excitement to the max!
Much can be learned about yourself and the character of
God through rock climbing. Trust, faith, interdependence,
and physical and mental challenges can all be lived out
